2010 Goals - Here we go!

I suppose the most sensible place to start would be a list of what I hope to achieve this year:
  1. Reduce total debt
  2. Increase savings fund to £3,000
  3. Buy a car
  4. Make a move towards more independent living…
  5. Lose half a stone (about 7lbs)
  6. Lead a more healthy and eco friendly life. Eating well/exercise is an area I'm seriously neglecting
  7. Cook more....
  8. Improve my French language skills
  9. Get a pay rise and/or promotion (yes please!!)
  10. Improve social life and openness to meeting new people
  11. Attend more events – both social and professional
  12. Give more support to family and friends – especially as they have always been there for me
That's a fair amount to accomplish in a year, and no doubt I’ll add more to this as time goes on. I’d also like to set and review monthly goals on top of these, as I think that will keep me on track. You know, I actually feel better about things already - so far, a great start to 2010.

I’ve had a quiet New Years celebration this year with family , a great opportunity for reflect on the year gone by. I always feel more positive when I think about what I’m grateful for in life and what I have achieved. I’m so grateful to have wonderful family and friends around me to support through good and bad. I am nothing without these people, without whom I really don’t know who or where I would be in life.
In my 26 years - I’ve graduated from uni, followed by a prost grad diploma. Bloody hard work but I’m proud to have completed both! I work for a world class animation film production company and I love my job! I share a flat with a good friend and generally speaking, I’m a happy girl. But I’m increasingly aware of the fact that some changes need to be made, so I’m working on that.

I hope everyone else is feeling optimistic about our year ahead - I wish everyone luck with their goals too!
